NEW CHANNEL HBO Max From Thursday 26 March

The world of streaming gets an exciting addition from Thursday when new platform HBO Max launches in the UK.

As well as a raft of enticing new dramas, sci-fi, comedies and documentaries, HBO Max features an extensive library of classic TV shows - including Succession, Friends and Game of Thrones - plus a host of hit movies, from Sinners and One Battle After Another to the Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings franchises.

Meanwhile, HBO Max will also include the full range of TNT Sports content and live coverage, including Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League football, cycling's Tour de France, the Australian and French Open tennis, plus Prem rugby union and much more.

THE SEDUCTION

Diane Kruger stars in this sizzling French period drama which serves as a prequel to the famous 1989 movie Dangerous Liaisons featuring Glenn Close and John Malkovich.

The six-parter follows a young Isabelle de Merteuil (Anamaria Vartolomei) as she runs away from a convent to secretly marry the Vicomte de Valmont (Vincent Lacoste). When she wakes the next day to discover their wedding was a sham, Isabelle is shattered by Valmont's betrayal, and turns to his aunt, Madame de Rosemonde (Kruger), for help in her campaign for revenge.

The cast also includes Emily in Paris star Lucas Bravo as the villainous Comte de Gercourt, who sets his sights on Isabelle.
