Fresh from playing a detective in Litvinenko, Mark Bonnar joins the cast of BBC1’s World War Two drama World on Fire this week as an MI5 operative who turns up at the home of Robina Chase (Lesley Manville).
Sir James Danemere has been sent to Manchester to gather information about possible spies, but it’s clear from their first meeting that he and Robina share common ground.
