Robson Green and Jason Watkins star in a cat-and-mouse thriller about a notorious killer
NEW THRILLER
The Game Monday-Thursday, 9pm, 5
A retired detective suspects his new neighbour is a serial killer he failed to catch in 5's latest psychological thriller The Game.
Airing over consecutive nights this week, the four-parter follows former DI Huw Miller (Jason Watkins), who can't settle into retirement because he remains haunted by the memories of a case he couldn't solve - that of a murderer dubbed The Ripton Stalker, who toyed with his victims before killing them.
When the enigmatic Patrick Harbottle (Robson Green) moves into a house on his street following the previous occupier's apparent suicide, Huw is startled when Patrick utters the phrase, 'Catch you later' - the sinister sign-off that the killer used to taunt Huw.
