SQUID GAME
27 June, Netflix
'Every game comes to an end' is the tantalising tag line for the final season of the South Korean thriller that has become a global phenomenon since it debuted in 2021. The story picks up from the Season 2 cliffhanger that saw Gi-hun's failed rebellion end in tragedy when his best friend Jung-bae was shot dead by Front Man. Now, Gi-hun, aka Player 456 (Lee Jung-jae), and the surviving players must make some difficult choices as they are thrust into even deadlier games. But their decisions have increasingly dire consequences with each new round of games.
