Northern Ireland's TV industry is thriving, thanks to a string of acclaimed shows including Derry Girls and Blue Lights. And now, new fly on the wall-style comedy Funboys joins the ranks of original programmes filmed in the region.

The offbeat four-parter, which started as a BBC short in 2023, follows immature friends Callum (Ryan Dylan), Jordan (Rian Lennon) and Lorcan (Lee R. James), as the hapless 20-somethings try to navigate first girlfriends and unresolved emotional issues in their humdrum rural home town, Ballymacnoose.
