Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Sir Ben Kingsley play actors battling for stardom in a Marvel series
-
A struggling, secretly superpowered actor joins forces with Hollywood's most flamboyant has-been in Marvel's new meta-comedy series that combines superheroics with sharp showbiz satire.
The eight-parter introduces chronically overlooked actor Simon Williams (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), who runs into washed-up Liverpudlian luvvie Trevor Slattery (Sir Ben Kingsley, reprising his Iron Man 3 role) after his latest cameo ends up being axed.
Trevor is back in Tinseltown hoping to revive his own career. But when he gives Simon the scoop on a remake of superhero movie Wonder Man and coaches him for auditions, can Simon keep his own superhuman abilities under wraps?
