An element of danger is to be expected when you're travelling through time and space - but the Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and Ruby (Millie Gibson) have barely set foot outside the TARDIS when they find themselves in mortal peril in this week's episode, Boom.
After the intrepid duo touch down on a war-torn planet, the Doctor inadvertently triggers a landmine and is left rooted to the spot while he and Ruby attempt to avoid detonating it.
