Last year, UKTV invited budding writers to submit scripts inspired by their lives in Britain for the WriterSlam initiative, designed to find untapped talent from underrepresented he groups.

Of the 1,600 entrants, four have been developed into half-hour pilots that are showing across four nights on Dave.
