Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan will be dusting off their dancing shoes as they aim for Bollywood stardom in a new series of their BAFTA-winning entertainment show, returning for its eighth run on Sky.

The first episode of a fourpart series sees the pals packing their bags for Mumbai to meet some of the billion-dollar film industry's biggest stars, who'll do their best to help them land a role in a movie.

'I wanted to do something that might get Rob cancelled, smiles Ranganathan.

'Flirting with that is always a funny thing to do, and I thought India was a good place for it to potentially happen - so fingers crossed!' After taking a crash course of acting lessons and reluctantly shaving off their beards, the pair are ready for their big audition, but will they impress the director enough to make the final cut? Here, Ranganathan, 47, tells us more about their adventures this time round...

How much fun did you have filming the Bollywood episode?

I loved it. Bollywood is something we'd talked about for a while, because it's such an amazing industry and such a fun one. Also, we're taking Rob Beckett to India, so the comedy takes care of itself!
