Hollywood stars Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon play it for laughs in this six-part satirical comedy about four dim-witted Australian soldiers who are captured while on a secret mission to a fictional war-torn island.

Mistaken for American spies and kidnapped by freedom fighters, the men look set to be killed when the Australian government shows no interest in saving them. But in a bold move, they convince their captors to let them produce a hostage video that will give publicity to the guerillas' cause.
