Dan Gauthier will make his Days of Our Lives debut on December 19 as Peter Blake, a character last seen in 1998.

Although the role is new to him, daytime isn't. Gauthier was the 11th actor to portray One Life to Live's Kevin Buchanan (from 2003 to 2010). So, when he arrived at the Days set, he spotted some familiar faces.
"I knew John-Paul Lavoisier [Philip Kiriakis] and Stacy Haiduk [Kristen DiMera], so it was really fun to reconnect," Gauthier reports. "Everybody was so kind and accepting and welcoming. I couldn't ask for anything better."
