Peter Ho-Sun Chan's “Going Home” is Three’s highlight, thanks to its mouldering apartment block setting and weird premise, as a man strives to resurrect his dead wife by bathing her corpse in Chinese herbs. A Tale Of Two Sisters director Kim Jee-woon’s “Memories” renders a new town’s clinicism eerie, but the solution to its memory-themed dual mystery is obvious from the outset. Thai filmmaker Nonzee Nimibutr’s “The Wheel” is the weakest link: a dull tale of a possessed puppet, tiresomely overreliant on slow-mo.
