How Glen Powell's Family and Home State Inspired His Latest 'Smash'

Glen Powell has a new smash” on his hands, but it’s not playing in theaters.
The actor, 36, launched his first-ever brand, Smash Kitchen, on April 2, and he drew inspiration for the condiment line from his family and home state of Texas. His grandmother “instilled this love of food in every-body” while he was growing up in Austin, he says. “The Powells love to eat, but we also love making our own sauces. We were always like, ‘We should bottle this.’”
