Where did your artistic journey start?
I was never more than average at drawing, just doodling in my school notebooks. The closest I got was trying some website designs and, once, opening 3ds Max because my dad suggested it - but I didn't enjoy it much!
When I finished school, I needed a job and a small studio had an opening for a 3D artist. I interviewed without a portfolio for a three-month trial and told them I needed a week to "sort some things out". That week I was actually downloading tutorials on how to model. So I guess that's where my artistic journey really began!
What's your main source of inspiration?
These days, it comes from the things I consume for fun - mainly games (especially metroidvanias with strong art direction), anime and movies that stand out either visually or with captivating storytelling.
