A homegrown brand, Tadko champions India's handmade fabrics, promoting craft and sustainability across the world

REVOLUTIONISING INDIA'S TEXTILE HERITAGE

Emerging from Ajanta Cloth Store, founded in Ahmedabad in 1970, Tadko has evolved from a men's fabric shop into a global symbol of eco-friendly fashion. Led by second-generation entrepreneur Ketan Patel, the brand champions natural dyes and fabrics, supporting over 1,100 artisans and women makers across rural India while exporting to 18 countries.

CRAFT LEGACY ROOTED IN INDIA

Founded by Pravin Patel, Ajanta Cloth Store gained recognition for quality fabrics, but it was Ketan who envisioned Tadko as a platform to preserve India's textile traditions with a modern touch. The brand sources fabrics directly from village artisans to maintain authenticity and preserve handcrafting skills.

Tadko's commitment to natural fibres and processes revives techniques like Kalamkari, Ajrakh, Ikat, Baghru, and indigo, safeguarding these living traditions for future generations.
