What do you consider the most overrated virtue? Chastity. Pointless. Who came up with that?! On what occasion do you lie? To my dentist about the regularity of my flossing. What is your idea of perfect happiness? Floating on my back in the ocean.
What is your greatest extravagance? Flights to Italy. Which words or phrases do you most overuse? “This is the best thing I’ve ever eaten” and “Hilarious!” and “Arlo, get off your phone!” What is your favorite journey? Summer days spent jumping off a boat into the sea, or winter days on a train. Both preferably in Italy, but I’ll pretty much jump into any clean body of water. Which living person do you most admire? Anyone brave enough to truly be themselves. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? I’m terribly impatient.
