Manpreet Badyal is a 33-year-old digital marketing manager at Doctors Without Borders Canada, where she earns a $100,000 salary.

She grew up in Delhi and moved to Vancouver to earn her marketing degree. In 2018, following her graduation, she ditched the peace and quiet of the West Coast for Toronto's cosmopolitan verve. When her sister, Anudeep, arrived in the city four years later, they moved into a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in the Beaches, which they rent for $3,300 a month. Here's how Manpreet spends her money.
