Apple has seemingly pointed a A shrinking ray at its smallest А desktop Mac, reducing its size from the 19.7cm square of the previous generation to just 12.7cm now - or just 5-inches square in old money. But it's not just smaller, it's been comprehensively redesigned, looking more akin to its stablemate, the Mac Studio, complete with two 2x USB-C ports on the front, plus a 3.5mm headphone jack, while the rear now gets three Thunderbolt 4 ports on the M4 model and three Thunderbolt 5 ports on the M4 Pro.
