MAGIC PILLS
Champak
|February First 2023
Megha and Richa were playing in their neighbourhood park and took a break after a while.

"You know, my father got me candies on one of his foreign visits. I brought them as I wanted to share them with you," Richa said.
Megha immediately got excited. "Ooh, thanks! Hope I love them!" she said. Richa took out a small box from her jacket pocket containing tiny, colourful cylindrical candies.
"They look like medicine pills," said Megha, making a face.
"Yes, they do, but they aren't. They are filled with chocolate, and they simply melt in the mouth. Do try one," said Richa offering the box to her friend.
At that moment, Richa's pet dog jumped over her lap, trying to catch a bird. During the turmoil, the box of candies flew from Richa's hand and fell into the bushes.
"Oh! My candies!" she cried.
Megha ran towards the bush to find them.
"Did you find them?" Richa asked.
"Look! The box is empty on the ground. I think the candies will be inedible now," Megha said sadly.
They searched around the bushes.
"Hey, look! Two of them have fallen on that leaf. They are not dirty, so we can eat them," Richa said happily.
Megha looked at the two orange cylindrical candies. They looked around but there was no sign of the others.
"Let's eat," Megha said.
Both friends popped a candy into her mouth.
"It tastes good, but it doesn't taste like chocolate like you mentioned," Megha said, chewing hers.
"This one tastes different, too," Richa agreed.
After five minutes, there was a loud sound like a balloon bursting, and both girls were amazed to see they were growing smaller and smaller.
"What's happening?!" Megha cried.
"I think we ate the wrong candies. We have changed into tiny ants," Richa said.
"What will we do now?!" cried Megha.
