Season 3’s Matt Warren, Jay Woods, John Sansone and Colton Hendricks were hoping to join those ranks as they brought a group of women back to their ranches in the hopes of finding love. While the strapping foursome are tight-lipped about how things ultimately ended, they promise more twists and turns than a bull at a rodeo. “Everybody will be surprised,” says Colton. Adds John: “I’m not sure anyone expects how things are going to end.” Here, Colton (a single dad to Souther, 3, and an Arkansas cattle rancher), John (a law student who runs the family farm in Missouri), Jay (an Alabama hay and cattle farmer) and Matt (a newly minted California avocado farmer) talk to In Touch’s Fortune Benatar about their journey.

How do you feel about how things turned out for you?

Colton: We’re always happy around here. We live and we learn.
