ON WORKING WITH BRUCE WILLIS: It's One of the Great Thrills of My Career

The former Desperate Housewives star has shared the screen with the action- movie icon three times

Jesse Metcalfe has worked alongside some huge stars over the years, including Sylvester Stallone, Michael Douglas and Eva Longoria. But the Desperate Housewives alum says his most memorable co-star is Bruce Willis, with whom he filmed 2020’s Hard Kill, 2021’s Fortress and 2022’s Fortress: Sniper’s Eye. “Getting the opportunity to play opposite Bruce will forever be one of the great thrills of my career,” Jesse says of the 68-year-old action star, who was recently diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia. “He was beginning to show signs of his now-public diagnosis,” Jesse acknowledges, “but you could tell he loved being on set.” Here, the 44-year-old talks to In Touch’s Katie Bruno about his latest project, Prime Video’s On a Wing and a Prayer, his dream role and his love life.

JM: I was a bit nervous to go toe-to-toe with the legend, but his warmth and charm quickly put me at ease. I wish him and his family nothing but the best.
