"I've really taken a step back and looked at how I was living," says Adam. "I was eating and drinking too much and sleeping too little."

"Fatherhood is everything Adam Devine dreamed of and more. “It was the best decision I’ve ever made,” says the Pitch Perfect alum, who welcomed son Beau with his wife of three years, actress Chloe Bridges, on Feb. 16, 2024. “My only regret is not starting sooner.” The baby also motivated him to drop 25 pounds. “Having my son made me realize it’s time to grow up and take care of business,” says the 41-year-old. “I want to be able to play with him and stay in good enough shape so I can hopefully play with my grandkids!” Here, the star of The Righteous Gemstones (the fourth and final season is airing now) talks to In Touch’s Lindsay Hoffman about his partnership with the MyFitnessPal app, his recent health scare and how he and Chloe feel about expanding their family.

When did you decide to get healthy?
