What drew you to Gwyneth as a subject?

Love her or hate her, Gwyneth has been a cultural influencer for three decades now. Countless glossy profiles have been written about her, but through deep research over the course of three years - including interviews with more than 220 sources - I learned that those barely scratched the surface of who she really is. I spoke to friends, colleagues, Goop staff, many people who worked on her films and more, and what I've written is a rigorously reported biography that aims to pull back the curtain on a fascinating and polarising woman who's had a profound influence on industries like entertainment, beauty, fashion and, perhaps most importantly, wellness.
