Speaking to reporters at the DGA Theatre in Los Angeles on April 24, Tina Fey was thrilled - if a little bewildered - at the premiere of The Four Seasons, the eight-part Netflix series which she stars in and co-created alongside Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield.

"This is actual showbiz. It's like, a little overwhelming," she said, gesturing to the red carpet peppered with co-stars including Will Forte and Steve Carrell as well as a bevy of her supportive pals including Amy Poehler and Ed Helms.

"Steve [Carell] and I were just like, 'Oh, we can't do this anymore,'" Fey continued. "I identify with characters in movies that don't wanna do one more heist. Like - 'I go out! They pulled me in!'"

imageAfter focusing on writing and producing for the past few years, Fey was tempted back to the leading-lady grind at the prospect of reimagining actor-turned-writer-director Alan Alda's 1981 film of the same name.
