AFTER THE FIGHT OF HER LIFE, THE ACTRESS IS BACK ON TOP WITH A SLEW OF EXCITING UPCOMING PROJECTS

- By Kylie Walters

My big IS COMEBACK

Four years after she thought her multiple sclerosis (MS) meant she'd given up acting for good, Selma Blair is back and busier than ever. With her condition entering remission in 2021, and the actress remaining "relapse-free" since, Blair is set to add three new film credits to her name.

"I'm feeling really well," the 53-year-old told Sunrise in an interview that aired on July 28. "I do still have things like fatigue and glitches with my speech sometimes, but I can get out of it a lot faster now." The Legally Blonde and Cruel Intentions actress was diagnosed in 2018 with the chronic neurological disorder that sees the immune system attack the brain and spinal cord. Confirmation that something was wrong had followed years of debilitating symptoms that affected Blair's vision, speech and ability to move.

"I didn't really trust myself because I actually did think I was making it up," Blair explained. "I thought, 'Well, I'm just the most tired person and I don't know why I have pain.' I've had it since I was young." When the intense pain didn't preclude her from getting out of bed, Blair spent several years relying on a cane and her service dog, Scout, to get about.
