FRANKIE AND CO. ARE BACK FOR A REBOOT OF THE HIT SHOW

Originally airing from 2000 to 2006, Malcolm in the Middle followed child prodigy Malcolm and his dysfunctional family. Now, it is the latest in a long line of sitcoms from the 2000s to receive a reboot, with four episodes of Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Unfair set to air on Disney+ later this year.

Confirmed to return for the revival are Frankie Muniz as the titular middle son, as well as Jane Kaczmarek and Bryan Cranston, who played Malcolm's parents, Lois and Hal Wilkerson. Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield, who played brothers Francis and Reese respectively, are also part of the project, while grownup versions of the family’s youngest children, Jamie and Kelly, have also been cast.

Erik Per Sullivan, who played Dewey - the youngest member of the family in early seasons - will not appear, having quit Hollywood after the show’s original run.
