THE HOLLYWOOD A-LISTER HAS DENIED ALLEGATIONS OF SEXUAL MISCONDUCT

Jared Leto has “expressly denied” recent allegations from multiple women accusing the star of sexually inappropriate behaviour. In a new report that was published by Air Mail on June 7, nine women came forward about their experiences with Leto - with some alleging they were just teenagers at the time of their encounters and another claiming the actions of the actor and musician have been “an open secret for a long time”.

“He asked how old I was. I said, ‘I'm 16. How old are you?’” Laura La Rue, now 32, said, recounting her first time meeting the celebrity at an event in 2008. The model further claimed she and Leto, who was 36 when they met, struck up an email friendship afterwards, which led to her visiting him at his Los Angeles residence in April 2009.

“I remember him teasing me the whole time I was there. He was flirting with me. He'd lean in close, then pull away, like it was a game.”
