THE COMEDIAN OPENS UP ABOUT HIS HUGE BROOD IN A NEW DOCO

The Hollywood Reporter recently wrote, “In the ’80s and ’90s, few movie titans were bigger than Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Eddie Murphy.” And now, like his peers, the latter – who has laid low in recent years – is back in the spotlight as the subject of new Netflix celebrity documentary Being Eddie.

With help from comedy’s current titans - Adam Sandler, Pete Davidson, Chris Rock and more - fans have been given an inside look into Murphy’s childhood, his career highs and lows, and, of course, his many romantic relationships. These days, indeed, the talk surrounding the Oscar nominee is more about him being a father to his bountiful brood than his classic films like Beverly Hills Cop, Coming to America, Shrek and The Nutty Professor.

The 64-year-old has 10 kids in total, ranging in age from 6 to 36, with five separate women. “My kids are the centre of everything – before kids, it’s just about you; once you have kids, it’s all about them,” the star shared in the documentary.
