It's the news no parent wants to hear. Just before 9am on July 1, thousands of families in Victoria were notified via a text message from Victoria Police and the Health Department that a childcare worker had been charged with sexual assault offences against children at a facility in Melbourne’s south west. Joshua Dale Brown, 26, is facing more than 70 charges, including child rape, possession of child abuse material and reckless contamination of goods to cause alarm or anxiety.
