'I've Had Such a Crazy Fun Ride'

It’s been over 35 years since Ricki Lake broke into showbiz as the lovable Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray.

But the star — who went on to win an Emmy for her Ricki Lake daytime talk show, created two documentaries and recently launched a podcast — feels like she’s just getting started. “I haven’t peaked yet. There’s still more in me,” says Lake, 56. “ I look at my career, I’ve had such a crazy fun ride… it keeps getting better,” she adds. “I’m living for what comes next.” As she launches Ricki Lake & Bake — a collaboration with California-based cannabis brand Stone Road Farms — Lake tells Us more.
