1. The thing I have in common with my A Minecraft Movie character, Dawn, is we both think we can do it all, and we can't.

2. My go-to meal is a salad bowl with quinoa and salmon, dressing on the side, a side of fries [and] a chocolate chip cookie.

3. Out of all the projects I've done, The Color Purple has a special place in my heart. It changed my life, got me my first Oscar nomination and gave me the confidence to know that I have a place in this industry.

4. To get myself into a good mood, I listen to music, don't talk to anybody and eat my dark chocolate peanut butter cups.

5. My good mood song is Journey's “Don't Stop Believin'.”

6. I shake off bad memories with a workout or dance.

7. I'm one hell of a baker and make a sweet potato cream cheese-filled bundt cake with cinnamon that is to die for.

8. I just got my first car in 2019 and am currently rocking the Range Rover. I didn't have a car [before] because I went to a high school where we lived on campus, and I went to college in New York, so I didn't need one.
