“Lucy is so disappointed when she begins to find out all these things about Martin that aren’t adding up and that he’s not telling her the truth,” begins her portrayer, Lynn Herring. “She doesn’t want to spy on him, but she doesn’t want to be crushed again! He’s getting some big bucks into his bank account, so, of course that raises all kinds of red flags. Is he blackmailing someone? Is it alimony from one of his terrible exwives? There are so many things it could be but it’s all very suspicious to Lucy because they’ve been very close for a year and nothing of this has come out in conversation. That’s what takes her and Felicia to Pine Valley, where these payments originate from.”
