Stacey and Joe's baby clash'

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash's new reality show will open the door on their “crazy” family life at Pickle Cottage, however the couple are at odds as devoted dad Joe wants to add to their brood – but wife Stacey isn't so keen

There are bombshells aplenty in Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash’s new reality TV show – one of the biggest being that the couple are “clashing” over babies, and the idea of having more of them.

Joe, it seems, is desperate for another little one – while Stacey isn’t right now – and says herself that her body is telling her she “can’t do it again”.

The pair’s BBC series, Stacey & Joe, lands on 1 April, and follows the couple as they juggle work and home life with five kids – Zach, 17, Leighton, 12, Rex, five, Rose, three, and two-year-old Belle.

Stacey, 35, feels their family is already at “peak craziness”, but former EastEnders actor Joe, 43, has other ideas and has made it clear that there’s room for one more in Pickle Cottage.

“Me and Stacey are so blessed that we’re able to have kids and have this amazing family,” Joe, who also has son, Harry, from a previous relationship, tells us. “But I’d love to have just one more.”

However, Stacey is putting her foot down – for now. After giving birth to her youngest three kids in just five years, the TV star says her body simply can’t handle it.

“Joe would like me to be a baby machine!” Stacey reveals. But it’s not that easy, as she admits, “I quit! I quit. My pelvic floor is a shambles, the whole of my back is screaming at me. I can’t do it again.”

Now, a source claims that despite Stacey’s firm stance, adding another child is something they talk about.
