The 45-year-old reality star faced off in court against Kaitlyn's former stepdad Michael Cardwell to gain custody of the girl after the cancer death of June's eldest daughter, Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell, last December.

Michael, who divorced Anna in 2017, argued that Kaitlyn should be raised under the same roof as her nine-year-old half-sister Kylee - his biological child with Anna - while June charged that her ex-son-in-law was an abusive husband.
