A CONVENIENCE store worker is being praised as a quick-thinking hero after he recognized that a woman customer was in terror of the man she came in with - leading to her suspected abuser's arrest by cops.

"He did a great job because she needed help and that was a good time he did it," says the unidentified clerk's coworker Shamsher Singh.
