DISGRACED British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was recently caught on camera with a large purple bruise on his face — and insiders fear that the scandal-plagued playboy may have tried to take his own life amid the expanding investigation into his past.

The ex-prince — who had his titles stripped in 2025 by brother King Charles amid growing public outrage over his ties with dead sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein — was photographed last month with a noticeable discoloration that extended from his temple to his eye and down his cheek as he sat behind the wheel of a Land Rover near his new home of Marsh Farm on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England.

According to reports from both London’s Times and The Telegraph, the bruise is the result of a medical condition.

A source told The Telegraph that “no drama” led to the bruise and there is no need for concern.

However, insiders worry that panicked Andrew, 66, may have made a suicide attempt as they believe he was rattled by reports that a potential criminal conviction could send him to prison for life.
