Missing kids are frequently targeted by sex traffickers, experts note

A SMALL town just outside Cleveland has a very big problem — kids are going missing from its poverty-stricken streets at an alarming rate, and no one knows what's happening to them!

In fact, according to a recent analysis, the dilapidated Ohio city of East Cleveland — which boasts just 13,792 residents — has logged at least 43 missing kids over the last decade, a shocking rate of 3.1 kids per 1,000 residents.

A local media investigation blamed the disturbing numbers on rampant crime, poverty, and an overwhelmed local police force that is “too crooked and understaffed” to focus on missing kids.
