She usually the picture of poise, but the Duchess of Edinburgh couldn't contain herself when she witnessed Team GB win gold in cycling at the Paris Olympics.

Prince Edward's wife was seen jumping for joy, waving her arms in the air, shrieking and hugging her fellow spectators (above) as the women's team broke the world record to clinch Britain's firstever Olympic medal in the event.

"A huge congratulations... from your very proud patron!" the duchess wrote on the Royal Family's social media accounts, referring to her position with the British Cycling Federation.
