Toronto's Dan Levy brings his signature charm to a TIFF finale brimming with star power

Audiences have come to expect both humour and passion from Schitt's Creek sensation Dan Levy – and he didn't disappoint at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival.

"I'm so proud to be here," said Dan, 42, as he attended the première for Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery – the nostalgic documentary which focuses on the groundbreaking all-female music festival.

Hello! Canada was on the red carpet with Dan, a producer on the film, as he recalled the magic and acceptance he felt at his very first Lilith Fair concert as a teen - an experience that would change him forever. "It was a soft place to be," said the star, who has spoken about being bullied in high school. "It was warm and welcoming, and that's something, frankly, that happens when you put a collection of women together. You don't get that from a group of men!" he noted cheekily.
