Do you ever stop to look at the birds?" Elsa Pataky asks with a smile.

It may seem like an odd question, but under the circumstances, it isn't at all. The Fast & Furious actress has just arrived in Europe from her home in Australia and plans to repeat the 24-hour journey within days.

It's an exhausting schedule, but she looks fabulous. That's because she's not only filled with enthusiasm for the project that brings her here but also eager to get back to her husband, Avengers star Chris Hemsworth, and their three children. And when Elsa asks about the birds, it's a clue to her outlook on life. "I'm on the move all day," she explains, "so I force myself to stop and see the little things that bring happiness."

At 47, Elsa is as committed as ever to her career but admits she's more serene now because she has become better at prioritizing things.

When we catch up with her, she's in her native Spain for a project that means a lot to her: teaming up with Biotherm. Sporty and devoted to ocean conservation, Elsa couldn't be a better fit for a beauty brand known for its marine-based products. Its push for "health betterment"-looking, feeling and acting better is certainly something she shares. Here, she tells us about her personal goals, fulfilling family life and approach to aging.

Elsa, you're as busy as ever...

I'm always full of energy, but I'm living each day as it comes. As you get older, your ambitions are no longer the same. It's about trying to do things consciously so they fulfil you not rushing through them as if they were part of a schedule.
