It was a welcome – and stylish – return. Celine Dion’s surprise appearance at the Grammy Awards left fans truly heartened, thrilled to see the Canadian chart-topper back in the spotlight amid her battle with a debilitating illness.

And the beloved star was equally pleased to be making a comeback. Glamorous in a gold Valentino wool coat and light pink chiffon dress – a look credited to her loyal friend and celebrity stylist Law Roach – Celine took to social media after music’s biggest night to post a handful of photos, including joyful backstage reunion moments with the likes of Oprah Winfrey.

The rare outing for Celine, who hadn’t appeared onstage since her diagnosis with stiff person syndrome, proved she’s doing everything in her power to soldier on since cancelling her Courage World Tour in 2022 due to illness. Her neurological condition – which causes chronic muscle stiffness and spasms – led her to stop performing altogether, cancel the European leg of her tour and focus on healing.
