SPRINKLING THEIR 'STRICTLY' MAGIC IN A 'DIY SOS' SPECIAL KATYA AND ANTON SCORE TOP MARKS AS THEY STEP UP TO HELP BUILD A NEW DANCE SCHOOL

From ballroom to building site, Katya Jones brings a touch of sparkle when she swaps sequins and glamour for a hi-vis jacket and a hard hat to help transform a dilapidated building into a new dance school in a DIY SOS Strictly Special.

Taking centre stage with her in the show, which airs on Wednesday, are her Strictly co-stars Luba Mushtuk, 33, Graziano Di Prima, 29, and Nancy Xu, 32, who all joined in on site after judge Anton Du Beke asked for their help.

Rolling up their sleeves, the Strictly stars put in some fancy legwork to lend support to the hit BBC show’s presenter, Nick Knowles, and his team of workers, plus scores of volunteers, to give the performing arts school in Wallsend, North Tyneside, a sensational makeover for the charity, True Colours Theatre.

Beaming with pride, Anton says: “We all understand the power of dance and how it brings people together. This could really transform not just the building but the community, too. We are thrilled to help out and bring some Strictly magic to the proceedings.”
