Dressed in an exquisitely embroidered hourglass silk gown, beaming bride-to-be Lauren Sánchez sealed her love with a kiss as she and tech billionaire Jeff Bezos glided along the romantic waterways of Venice ahead of their lavish nuptials.

And HELLO! was on the ground as the star-studded three-day extravaganza, which has been described as the wedding of the decade, began to unfold.

The Amazon founder, 61, and his 55-year-old fiancée, a former TV journalist, smiled as they waved to onlookers last Thursday evening, when the festivities began in one of the city's famous historical sites – the cloisters of the Catholic church Chiesa della Madonna dell'Orto.
