The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out in public together last week as they were named Humanitarians of the Year at a gala in New York.

Harry and Meghan arrived on the red carpet hand in hand to receive their awards at Project Healthy Minds’ annual World Mental Health Day Gala. Meghan, 44, accessorised her smart Armani suit with black heels and a chunky gold necklace.

The couple, who are using their Archewell Foundation to raise awareness of harmful social-media content, looked as close as ever as they spoke of their fears for their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, in the digital age.
