MOTOR-RACING PRESENTER NICKI SHIELDS INTRODUCES HER ADORABLE 'LITTLE LADY' ALYRA

Cuddling up to their new baby sister in matching stripy pyjamas, Formula E presenter Nicki Shields’s sons with husband Mark Sainthill – Arthur, four, and Orlando, 17 months – couldn’t look any cuter. Their sibling Alyra Lily arrived in their West London home earlier this month and has settled in right away.

“The family feels complete; it’s really lovely. It feels as though she has always been here – it’s so strange how that happens,” Nicki, 37, tells hello!. “There was always a longing for three kids, although we didn’t know if we could handle the juggle. But it happened and now I’m so happy.

“At the moment, Alyra is still in the newborn phase, where she just sleeps and feeds a lot. So it’s very cute and cuddly and we get to spend all evening snuggling on the sofa together watching TV, which is wonderful.

“That’s it, though,” she says with a laugh of the fact that she and Mark now have a trio of youngsters under five. “Three children is it.”

Arthur and Orlando have fully embraced the new addition, despite their tender years. “They have been surprisingly good with her,” Nicki says. “We had written Orlando off, because we thought he was too young to understand. But the first time he met Alyra, he came strolling in with this huge, proud smile.

“He’s only got about three words, but he pointed at his sister and said: ‘Baby.’ That was really sweet. Arthur has also taken to her, I think maybe because he’s used to having a brother. Last night he called her ‘little lady’.”
