THE FILM WORLD'S BIGGEST STARS PAINT LONDON RED
-
Hollywood came to London on the biggest night in the British film calendar - and HELLO! joined leading lights of the big screen for the EE Bafta Film Awards at the Royal Festival Hall.
While it was a triumphant night for filmmakers with Oppenheimer winning an epic seven awards - there were style stars, too, with singer Dua Lipa commanding attention in a sweeping crimson Valentino chiffon gown and acting royalty Cate Blanchett elegant in maroon Louis Vuitton as they arrived at the South Bank venue.
HITTING THE HIGH NOTES
Maestro co-stars Carey Mulligan and Bradley Cooper shared plenty of laughs and a playful high-five as they posed together for photos on the red carpet.
The Best Actress nominee channelled the 1950s in a Dior couture gown, her diamond, and sapphires from Bulgari Bafta's official jewelry, and watch partner glittering in the lights.
Oppenheimer actress Florence Pugh was equally dazzling in a black velvet gown with a silver corset by Harris Reed, while The Woman King star Sheila Atim sparkled in silver Gucci and Best Supporting Actress hopeful Rosamund Pike was elegant in delicate duck-egg blue Dior.
The four main acting gongs went to Cillian Murphy, Best Actor winner for the title role in Oppenheimer,
Emma Stone, named Best Actress for Poor Things, The Holdovers' Da'Vine Joy Randolph, who took home Best Supporting Actress, and Robert Downey Jr, who added a Best Supporting Actor to Oppenheimer's haul.
On her way to collect her trophy in peach Louis Vuitton, Emma was greeted with applause from her fellow actors and a cheeky wink from Ryan Gosling, her former costar in La La Land and Crazy, Stupid, Love.
