HONOURS 60 YEARS OF GROUNDBREAKING CHARITY

She has made women's health Sand public work, so the Duchess of Edinburgh was delighted to join celebrations marking 60 years of the charity Wellbeing of Women.

Elegant in a monochrome floral dress, Sophie appeared equally pleased to be reunited with a doctor who has played a key role in her own health.

She greeted the charity's joint honorary president Sir Marcus Setchell with two kisses, revealing that she had seen him at a recent event. "So he needs no introduction?" asked Dame Professor Lesley Regan, the charity's chair. "Not really!" Sophie replied.

Sir Marcus, former surgeon gynaecologist to Queen Elizabeth II, delivered both of the Duchess's children: Lady Louise, now 21, and the Earl of Wessex, now 16.

He was also present at the birth of Prince George in 2013.
