AGING action star Vin Diesel has come under fire from overzealous fans after endless delays on Fast & Furious 11, and sources reveal he's scrambling to save the flick before the franchise crashes and burns!
"It's been a long, tortured journey to get this movie up and running," spills an industry insider. "Even though there's been some preproduction and pre-shooting, the full ensemble isn't going to assemble until later this spring after many months of delays and a lot of uncertainty about budget and location."
Meanwhile, the whole franchise seems to already be running on fumes!

PHIL DANIELS plays a restless London youth in the 1979 British movie Quadrophenia, based on the Who's rock opera - but oddly, the chaotic production was not a musical, and the Who does not even appear in it! The lead was supposed to go to JOHN LYDON - better known as Johnny Rotten of notorious punk band the Sex Pistols - but the film's distributors thought he was too dicey a personality to insure. Nevertheless, production did not go smoothly. The Who's legendary drummer, KEITH MOON, died during filming, and a brawl scene in the seaside city of Brighton used two real- life rival gangs, resulting in a \"real riot - health and safety didn't come into it,\" according to Daniels.
