Charles stews as cockeyed queen drowns sorrows
-

Her husband's health and her dog's death have sent Camilla into a "booze nightmare," a tipster tattles
HEARTBROKEN Queen Camilla is drowning her bottomless sorrow in booze, courtiers confide — sparking fears that King Charles’ unhinged wife is drinking herself to death!
“Camilla has endured a year from hell,” a high-level palace insider tells GLOBE. “The king’s cancer diagnosis in January was devastating — but the tragic illness and death of her beloved rescue pup Beth was the last straw.”

According to the tipster, the often-soused 77-year-old had secretly undergone yet another detox at her favorite wellness center in India mere weeks ago — but nonstop stress and emotional anguish have “plunged” her back into a “booze nightmare!”
The insider dishes, “She’s canceled a ton of important public events — blaming an ongoing chest infection. But the truth is her binges got out of control and Charles told her to stay home!”
Notably, the queen was recently forced to skip part of the state visit to the U.K. of the Emir of Qatar and his wife — and insisted she was still recovering from a bout of pneumonia.

ROCK ON!
PHIL DANIELS plays a restless London youth in the 1979 British movie Quadrophenia, based on the Who's rock opera - but oddly, the chaotic production was not a musical, and the Who does not even appear in it! The lead was supposed to go to JOHN LYDON - better known as Johnny Rotten of notorious punk band the Sex Pistols - but the film's distributors thought he was too dicey a personality to insure. Nevertheless, production did not go smoothly. The Who's legendary drummer, KEITH MOON, died during filming, and a brawl scene in the seaside city of Brighton used two real- life rival gangs, resulting in a \"real riot - health and safety didn't come into it,\" according to Daniels.
