The cruel and senseless murder of teenaged Karen Grammer in 1975 shattered the lives of the people who loved her, including her older brother, Frasier star Kelsey Grammer. “This was the closest person to me,” Kelsey told The New York Times. “We were very, very close. It’s something that stays with you for your whole life, it just does.”
In a new book out May 6, Karen: A Brother Remembers, he pays tribute to his sister’s life and shares memories of growing up together. “She was my best friend and the best person I knew,” Kelsey said. “She had so much to live for.”
BROTHERLY LOVE Kelsey and Karen were just two years apart in age. In his new book, he recalls "her love, her insights, and her compassion."
